Paul Andrew does not cease to accumulate successes, as evidenced by the most recent arrivals of news from Italy . It is official: the creator is the new (and first) line creative director of Salvatore Ferragamo shoe.
He was at Calvin Klein. and Alexander McQueen. He also created his own eponymous signature shoe label in 2013, thanks to which he demonstrated his undeniable talent and vision in the world of fashion. A vision that earned him, just a year later, the ‘CFDA Fashion Fund Award’ (and this year’s ‘CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessory Design’).
“We are very excited to welcome such a dynamic and prestigious talent within our company. We are proud to have a strong track record as to nurture talent and believe that Paul agrees with the spirit of the heart of our house ” , said the president of the company, Ferruccio Ferragamo.
The news is not only a big step for the creator of British origin, but also for the Italian maison itself, which had never before enjoyed a creative director in the area which now debuts Andrew.
His creations for Ferragamo also will soon be known, since he has already taken the reins in his new position, and his first collection is scheduled for next year (facing season Pre-Fall 2017) . And we can not have more desire to discover!
