LONDON FASHION WEEK – DAY TWO
DORATEYMUR
PRESS RELEASE: “Dora Teymur’s AW 2018 collection titled ‘Why I Love Her’, started with examining Louise Dahl Wolfe’s 1942 post war effort photograph ‘Walls Have Ears’. The designer fused together the vintage element and narrative from this image with the contemporary everyday characters of Tina Barney’s book ‘Players’, 2011, in a cinematographic storyline.
The consideration of these elements created the character the collection is centered on; an elegant spy that posses the qualities of the well-dressed woman and the allure of an unidentifiable façade.
This season the brand introduces a debut capsule ready to wear collection and a range of handbags.
Renowned American accessories designer Patricia Von Musulin has graciously provided pieces from her archive for the catwalk show.”
