The exhibition ” Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology ” organized by the Metropolitan Museum  of Art in New York at the Robert Lehman Wing and Anna Wintour Costume Center raises the question of their own on the current relationship between the “hand-made” and the use of the machine, both in haute couture and in ready-to-wear. The visitors will be surrounded by more than one hundred and twenty creations, ranging from 1880 to 2015.

The Robert Lehman Wing Galleries that occupy the ground floor and the first floor will house creations of the classic techniques of haute couture next to the result of the most innovative technological applications work.

The exhibition ” Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology ” will be held at the Robert Lehman Wing and Anna Wintour Costume Center of the New York MET as of May 5, 2016 until August 14, 2016.
