Kiehl’s brings its East Village apothecary vibe to Melbourne’s Chadstone for a swinging store opening.
The sixth Kiehl’s standalone store in Australia called for a little nostalgia. While the Tom Collins cocktails alluded to the skincare company’s birthplace and approximate era, New York, 1851, the décor hinted at the origins of the East Village apothecary that has become a global phenomenon.

AMBIANCE New York speakeasy or an art party, hard to decide while surrounded by neon tube lighting and scholarly skeletons.
STAR ATTRACTION Kiehl’s lip balm, it’s natural and luscious.
THE MENU King prawn, wasabi mayo and watercress mini bun, goat curd and cherry tomato tartlet with salsa verde, roast duck, pickled mango rice paper rolls. Followed by Valhrona chocolate and dulce de leche mini tarts.
DRINKS MENU Guests sipped on classic Tom Collins cocktails and the wonderful Louis Roederer Champagne.
