A tribute to the L.A music scene, the runway was more akin to a festival of sound, a celebration of 50 years of Rive Gauche and a Rock ‘n’ Roll hall of fame. Hedi Slimane presented a mostly unisex collection with the androgynous look he pioneered in the ’90s front and centre.
Silhouettes from Glam Fall 2005 and elements of Psych Rock Collection for Saint Laurent 2013 were brought together for this heart thumping show. Metallic, military, glam are all key words, as are the more medieval looks of velvet and fedoras.
