Under the design direction of Chopard’s co-president Caroline Scheufele, the Geneva workshop artfully assembled a bestiary crafted with extraordinary skill by master goldsmiths and jewellers using a veritable cavalcade of gems.
For anyone keeping count, these peacock ear clips boast 434 blue sapphires of various caratage, 8 orange sapphires, 30 amethysts, 24 coloured diamonds and 14 emeralds interspersed with some 627 tsavorite garnets.
The extraordinary beauty of a peacock’s feather might be difficult to replicate, but a four-figure jewel count is certainly one of the few ways to do so.
