British shoe designer, Charlotte Olympia, has weaved her magic on our beloved rubber footwear.

Flip-flops, slops, thongs. They may not immediately sound chic by name or by the very slap they make on the footpath—nonetheless they are a non-negotiable summer favourite. Now it’s possible to maintain a bit of glamour-puss magic in these delightful flip-flops from Charlotte Olympia.

The capsule collection was spun together with Brazilian heavyweights, Havaianas and embraces the designer’s signature retro Hollywood colour palette of gold, red and leopard print. Of course, Charlotte’s much-loved feline friends, Kitty and ‘Bruce’ the leopard are front and centre.

Charlotte Olympia Dellal admits that despite ostensibly trading in towering heels at her eponymous brand, as the offspring of a Brazilian model mother, Havaianas “have always been a staple when on holiday around the world and on the beach in Rio.” It’s not just us.
The question now is, Bruce or Kitty?
